TOWN CENTER OF MILILANI PRESENTS THEIR POPULAR  “PINEAPPLE DROP” TRADITION FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE, ALONG WITH A GREAT ENTERTAINMENT LINE-UP FEATURING HEADLINERS JOSH TATOFI & KALAPANA!

The Town Center pineapple will drop at 7 p.m. (midnight at Times Square) so the whole family can celebrate together in a fun-filled, safe and exciting environment.

MILILANI, HI (Updated December 29, 2018) – Town Center of Mililani will be celebrating New Year’s Eve with their popular “Pineapple Drop” and Live Concert event, as follows:

“The Pineapple Drop is something everyone in Central O’ahu looks forward to every year, and Town Center of Mililani is excited to bring the community together as we bid aloha to 2018, and welcome in a happy and prosperous 2019,” said Leolani Kini, Property Manager.  “Our team has been hard at work making sure the 12-foot tall pineapple with over 900 feet of lights and over 2,500 bulbs is ready to go, and our entertainment program is another great reason to spend the day with us.  We warmly welcome people from all over the island and even visitors to join in on our unique and exciting tradition!”

Popular artists Josh Tatofi and Kalapana will be headlining the program.  Kalapana will be doing a special tribute to original band member Malani Bilyeu who passed away this week.

The public will be allowed to enter the designated area in the parking lot from 12 noon on December 31st.  Picnic mats/blankets and low chairs are allowed.  Coolers and BBQs are not allowed.

Town Center of Mililani will also be giving away temporary tattoos and posters, and presenting an Instagram contest to win prizes throughout the event, including Town Center of Mililani tenant gift cards, exclusive Pineapple Drop t-shirts, and more.  Customers may also visit Jamba Juice, Jeans Warehouse/Jeans Warehouse Kids, and Taco Bell/Pizza Hut all day on December 31st until 5 p.m. and fill-out entry blanks to win more prizes during the Pineapple Drop program.

“We encourage everyone to come early to shop and purchase food from our wonderful Town Center of Mililani tenants and save their space for the Pineapple Drop event,” added Kini.  “HPD and our security team will also be posted around the Center for everyone’s safety.”
